In 1935, Warner Brothers purchased 500 acres near Calabasas Creek and the vicinity of Mulholland Drive and Valmar Road. Named the Warner Ranch, today it's home to Calabasas Country Club 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones and son.
